Updating the app

How the app receives new versions and how to check for updates manually.

The app checks for updates at every launch.

1. When a new version is released, a "Version … is available" window appears with the list of changes.
2. Click "Update": the app downloads the new version, verifies it, and restarts. If the connection drops, the download resumes from where it left off.
3. The "Later" button postpones the update until the next launch.

You can check for updates manually in the "Help" menu → "Check for updates…". What changed in each version is on the Changelog page.
