How to entrust the agent with a big job: a plan before starting, a goal, a to-do list, helpers, and exporting the conversation.

For a task with many steps the agent has several techniques. They help you see the plan before the agent starts changing files, and keep track of a long job.

A plan before the work

Click "+" → "Plan": the agent first studies the folder and shows the whole plan, with the buttons "Accept", "Reject", and "Discuss" below it. Until the plan is accepted, the agent changes nothing.

The plan awaits your decision

While the mode is on, a "Plan" badge is visible next to the input field. You can turn the mode off with the cross on the badge or with the /plan off command.

Goal

"+" → "Goal" sets a goal that the agent keeps returning to on its own until it reaches it, and then marks it as done.

To-do list

In a long task the agent keeps a list of items and checks off what is done, so you can see what stage the work is at.

Helpers

The agent can hand part of the work to separate helpers and gather their answers, including from several at once. The helpers' work is visible in the conversation.

Multiple-choice questions

If the agent needs your decision, it shows a question with ready-made options and explanations. Pick an option, write your own answer, or click "Skip question".

Progress and exporting the conversation

• The agent's steps are visible in the conversation: which commands it ran, which files it read and changed, what the helpers replied. Every step can be expanded.
• The bar at the bottom shows the running tally: how many turns and steps were made, how much text was sent and received.
• "Download conversation" is a button in the upper right. It saves the conversation as a single text file: your questions, the agent's replies, and the step captions. The file opens in any editor.
