First steps
How to choose a working folder, give the agent a task, and follow its work.
The agent works inside the folder you open for it: it reads and changes files only there unless you allow more. Start with the folder that holds the documents you need, and describe the task the way you would explain it to a person.
Choosing a working folder
- On the home screen, click "Choose a working folder" and point to the folder with your files.
- To add another folder, click "Add a working folder" in the left panel. Conversations are grouped by folder.
You do not need to attach files from the working folder to a message: the agent sees them on its own.

Giving a task
Write in words what needs to be done. For example:
- "Rewrite the introduction in article.md to make it shorter."
- "Sort the photos into folders by year."
- "Check whether there is free space on the disk."
For the first time, there are ready-made tasks below the input field: "Sort out a folder of documents", "Compile data into a table", "Tidy up files", "Understand a project".
Send the message with the Enter key or the arrow button. While the agent is working, the same button stops it.
The agent can search the internet: ask it to find something, and it will run a search and open the right pages. It will also read a link from your message. Every search uses credits.
How the work goes
Every step the agent takes is visible in the conversation: which commands it ran, which files it read and changed. A step can be expanded to see the details. When the work is done, the agent writes a summary and lists the changed files.
Result of the work: the reply and the changed file
Files the agent has read or created open in the right panel when you click their name.
If you stopped a reply, it is marked as such, and the agent does not finish it with the next message.
Agent permissions
Below the input field there is an access switch. It determines what the agent may change: nothing, only the working folder, or any files on the disk. See Working with files.
The model is chosen in the lower right corner of the input field: Choosing a model.
