Yenisei CLIGetting started
Overview
What Yenisei CLI is, what the terminal assistant can do and how to get started.
Yenisei CLI is a coding assistant that works in the terminal, right inside your project folder. You describe a task, and the assistant reads the code, edits files, runs commands and tests, and saves every change to git. Inside the program itself it is called Yenisei Code.
What the assistant can do
- Reads code and searches through it.
- Edits files and shows what it changed.
- Runs commands and tests.
- Saves every change to git so it can be rolled back.
How the program works
Yenisei CLI is a single program with no dependencies. It installs with one command and runs on macOS, Linux and Windows. The assistant runs on Yenisei models, and usage is charged to the credits in your account.
Getting started
- Install the program. On macOS and Linux this is a single command; on Windows, a single downloaded file.
- Sign in to your account with
yenisei login: you will need your email address and the code from the email. - Go to your project folder, run
yeniseiand describe the task: First steps.
On macOS and Linux all three steps look like this:
Terminal
curl -fsSL https://yenisei.ru/app/cli/install.sh | sh
yenisei login
cd ~/projects/my-project
