Overview

What Yenisei Agent is, what it can do, and how it differs from the chat.

Yenisei Agent is a desktop application in which artificial intelligence answers questions and does work with your files: it goes through documents, edits texts, tidies up folders, runs commands, and works on a schedule.

Two modes

The mode switch is in the header of the left panel.

• "Chats" is a regular AI chat: questions, texts, attachments, images. These chats are shared with the web chat and the mobile app: a conversation started on your phone can be continued on your computer. See Chats mode.
• "Agent" is work in a folder on your computer. You open a folder for the agent and describe the task, and the agent carries it out. The rest of this section is about this mode.

What the agent can do

• Read and edit files in the working folder, and create new ones.
• Run commands on the computer and show the result.
• Search the internet and read pages by link.
• Go through documents: contracts, estimates, presentations, scans.
• Generate images and edit existing ones.
• Handle large tasks: draw up a plan, keep a to-do list, bring in helpers.
• Run tasks on a schedule.

How file handling works

Files stay on your computer: the agent reads them itself and sends for processing only what the task needs. It does not go outside the working folder without your permission, and it sends a scan for text recognition only after you agree.

The agent's work is paid for with the credits of your plan. The app is available for macOS, Windows, and Linux.

Where to start

1. Install the app.
2. Sign in to your account with the code from the email.
3. Choose a working folder and give the agent its first task: First steps.
